About AA Mastering

For over four decades, Alex Abrash has worked behind the scenes of recorded music, moving between technical studio work, archival preservation, and mastering across a wide range of formats and musical traditions.

His path through recorded sound began with classical tape duplication and continued through some of New York City's most respected recording environments, including The Hit Factory, Sigma Sound, Unique Recording, Electric Lady Studios, and Kampo Cultural Center.

Today, AA Mastering operates from Plainview, New York, where Alex works closely with labels, artists, and rights holders on mastering, lacquer cutting, and archival restoration projects.
